Eastern Africa Standby Force Conducts Battle Group Commanders Course in Entebbe
Thursday, June 6th, 2024, The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) has commenced the Battle Group Commanders Course (BGCC) in accordance with its approved calendar of activities for 2024. The course, held from 3rd to 14th June, 2024, aims to equip potential battle group commanders with essential skills for peacekeeping operations.

AU Specialized Technical Committee Meeting
On 3 June 2024, The Director of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF), Brig (Rtd) Paul Kahuria Njema, the Head of Peace Operations Department (HPOD), the Head of the Police Component and AU Liaison Officer attended the 16th Specialized Technical Committee on Defense, Safety, and Security (STCDSS) meeting at African Union in Addis Ababa".
EASF and Danish Police Discuss Collaboration
The Eastern African Standby Force (EASF) led by its Director Brig (Rtd) Paul Kahuria Njema, hosted a Meeting with a Delegation from the Danish National Police. The Meeting discussed potential future collaboration in capacity building, peace and security support, cyber security and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV).
