Preparations for Commemoration of International Day of Peace
Each year, the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21st September. The United Nations General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.

AU Police Pre-Deployment Training Launched
The Eastern Africa Standby Force started the approved African Union Police Pre-Deployment Course at the Humanitarian Peace Support School (HPSS) in Embakasi, Nairobi, on 31st August 2021.
EASF Renewing Cooperation with Centers of Excellence
The Eastern Africa Standby Force held extensive discussions with officials at the Rwanda Peace Academy from 23rd to 27th August 2021 in Musanze, Rwanda.
EASF Conducts Staff Rotation at the Secretariat
