EASF hosts the African Standby Capacity Meeting
The Eastern Africa Standby Force(EASF) is hosting the 7th African Standby Capacity(ASC) Annual Coordination three-days meeting which started on 24th April 2019 at Ibis Styles Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.
Daystar University Students visit EASF
A group of more than 40 students from Daystar University in Nairobi visited the EASF secretariat on Wednesday 23rd April 2019. The students, who are currently pursuing their studies in International Relations aimed at learning more about the mandate of EASF as well as discuss about peace and security in Africa.
EU APSA IV Formulation Expert Visits EASF
An expert from the Regional European Union (EU) offices visited the Eastern African Standby Force Secretariat in Karen, Nairobi on 23rd April 2019. The expert, who is part of a wider EU delegation visiting other Regional Economic Communities (RECs)
EASF Camera-persons' Training Comes to an End
A camera-persons training course organized by the Peace Operations Department of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) ended on Thursday 18th April, 2019. A total of 8 participants attended the course which was held at Country House Inn, in Nairobi, Kenya.

A two week United Nations Military Experts on Missions Course which started on 8th April 2019 came to a successful conclusion on 18th April 2019 at the Ethiopia Peace Keeping Training Center in Addis Ababa Ethiopia.

Open Source Intelligence Training Concludes
As part of operationalization of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) Early Warning Mechanism (E-WARN), a one-week Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) training was started on Monday, 1st April 2019, at International Peace Support Training Centre (IPSTC) in Nairobi, Kenya.
