EASF Day Sudan
The 
EASF Open Day in Sudan was conducted on the 10th December 2015 in the capital city, Khartoum. The Vice President of the Sudan, H.E. Hasabo Mohamed Abdul Rahman, was Guest of Honor at the high profile one-day event.
Deployment of EASF Draws Closer
As part of the preparations for future deployment, Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) received a Start-Up-Kit at a ceremony held at the Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Leadership Centre in Karen Nairobi on 3rd December, 2015.
EASF Day Ethiopia
EASF conducted an Open Day in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 14th November 2015.
This single-day event was graced by the Minister for Defence of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Mr. Siraj Fegessa.
The Director of EASF, Amb. Issimail Chanfi thanked the Government of Ethiopia for hosting the event which was the first of its kind in the country ever.
President Guelleh Opens EASF Meeting
H. E. Ismail Omar Guelleh President of the Republic of Djibouti officially opened the 19th Ordinary Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Defence and Security of the Eastern Africa region in Djibouti on 17th October 2015.
