EASF Conducts Staff Induction Programme

The Eastern Africa Standby Force rolled out a Staff Induction Programme for incoming officers at the Secretariat in Karen, Nairobi, on 24th August 2020.

The new members of staff, who included the Joint Chief of Staff, Brig. Gen. PSC Osman Mohamed Abbas Osman, were welcomed to the Induction Programme by the Director, Brig. Gen. Getachew Shiferaw Fayisa and the Head of Administration and Finance Ms. Lina Peggy Hoareau.

In his speech during the occasion, Brig. Gen. Fayisa emphasized on the importance of thoroughly understanding the tenets of EASF's operations since that understanding influences relations within the working environment as well as personal contributions towards the organizations goals.

Many staff positions within the organization are rotated among the 10 Member States in line with EASF's Staff Rotation Matrix.
