African Standby Capacity Annual Coordination Meeting Underway
African Standby Capacity Annual Coordination Meeting is underway in Lusaka, Zambia, from 27-29 June 2022. The meeting was coordinated by personnel from the African Union, and chaired by the Chief of the Capacity Development Unit, Mr. Eustace Chiwombe.

The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) concluded today, 10 June 2022, its After Action Review (AAR) of the Command Post Exercise, Codenamed ‘MASHARIHI SALAAM III’, in Victoria, Seychelles.
EASF Launches AAR in Victoria, Seychelles
EASF launched in Victoria, Seychelles, its After Action Review (AAR) of the Command Post Exercise (CPX) 2022, on 6 June 2022. The aim of the five-day AAR is to evaluate the conduct of the EASF CPX-2022 which was conducted in March 2022. It will deliberate on the findings from the First Impression Report, enrich it, and draw lessons for future similar exercises as well as for EASF as an organization..
Delegates from National Defence College of India visit EASF Secretariat
The delegates from the National Defence College of India paid a working visit at the EASF Secretariat Headquarters in Karen, Nairobi, today 31 May 2022. The delegation was led by the Senior Director Staff, Navy Rear Admiral Dhiren Vig.
Civilian Recruitment in Comoros
On 30th May 2022, the EASF Civilian Roster Recruitment Exercise was launched officially at the Retaj Hotel in Moroni, Comoros by the Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Comoros, Mr. Abdourahmane Said Bacar. The EASF team comprised of the Head of Civilian, Mr. Kedir Ababulgu Ali, Civilian Planning, Training and Evaluation Officer, Ms. Octavia Rose, HR Officer Col.
