The event, themed “Think Smart, Stay Safe: Youth Against Cyber Threats,” aims to raise awareness, build regional capacity, and engage youth in combating emerging digital threats.
Eastern Africa Standby Force to Launch Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop in Kigali
Kigali – September 7, 2025 – The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) is set to launch a five-day workshop on cybersecurity and cyber terrorism awareness beginning tomorrow, September 8, in Kigali, Rwanda.
The event aims to raise awareness and build regional capacity to combat emerging digital threats, with a particular focus on engaging young people. Held under the theme "Think Smart, Stay Safe: Youth Against Cyber Threats," the workshop will bring together cybersecurity experts, policy makers, law enforcement agencies and youth representatives from across the region.
