The training, organized in partnership with the Dallaire Institute for Children, Peace and Security, brought together representatives from EASF Member States and staff for intensive sessions on child protection in security operations.

From 11–13 November 2025, the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) held an important induction workshop in Naivasha, Kenya, to officially welcome the 2nd Cohort of the EASF Panel of Elders. The workshop was opened by the Director of the EASF Secretariat, who thanked the Guest of Honor, EASF Policy Organs, and key partners, the African Union Commission (Peace Fund) and the Royal Kingdom of Denmark, for their continued support to regional peacebuilding.

Addis Ababa, 30 October 2025 - On Thursday, a delegation from the European Union to the African Union visited the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) Force Headquarters (FHQ) and Logistics Base. The visit was hosted by the EASF Force Commander and the Chief of Staff of the Logistics Base. The delegation received a detailed presentation on EASF’s mission, operations, and ongoing initiatives, before touring the facilities and premises of both the FHQ and Logistics Base.
