Nairobi, Kenya – Thursday, 30 October 2025 – The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) held a formal handover and farewell ceremony at its Secretariat in Nairobi to honor outgoing staff members and welcome new officers, in line with the EASF Rotation Matrix 2025–2029. The event was presided over by Brigadier (Rtd) Paul Kahuria Njema, the Director of EASF.

EASF Presents Anniversary Book to Key AU Officials at High-Level Forum in Abuja

Abuja, Nigeria — November 9, 2025—The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) marked a significant milestone in its advocacy and partnership efforts with the formal presentation of the EASF Anniversary Book to senior officials of the African Union Commission (AUC).

The presentation took place during the Second High-Level Biennial Lessons Learned Forum on Peace Support Operations and the African Standby Forces, held from 8–9 November 2025 in Abuja, Nigeria.

EASF Begins After-Action Review of “Bahari Salama” Maritime Exercise in Djibouti
