EASF Observers Deployed in Rwanda for General Elections
From as early as 5.00 am local time, July 15th 2024, Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) observers were already in various polling stations in all four provinces including the capital city, Kigali. Voting went smoothly in most polling stations in Rwanda with a high voter turnout from 9.7 million registered voters.

On 13th of July 2024, The Head of the Eastern Africa Standby Force Election Observer Mission, Ambassador Kennedy Mokaya, along with the Vice-Chair of EASF Panel of Elders of Elders, Ambassador Mwenyesha Mrugai, and the Deputy Head of Mission, Mr. Bacar Ali Said, held a meeting with the Chairperson of the Rwanda National Electoral Commission, Oda Gasinzigwa.
EASF Launches Logistic Map Exercise (MAPEX) in Addis Ababa Ethiopia
In a significant development on 8th of July 2024, the EASF Force Commander, General Getachew Ali Mohamed, alongside the Logistics Base, Chief of Staff, Colonel Julien Rwangarambe, inaugurated The Logistics Mapex Planning Conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This pivotal event is set to span five days, concluding on Friday, July 12th 2024.
EASF Flags off its Election Observer Mission to Rwanda
