EU Delegation Visits EASF Headquarters and Logistics Base

Addis Ababa, 30 October 2025 - On Thursday, a delegation from the European Union to the African Union visited the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) Force Headquarters (FHQ) and Logistics Base. The visit was hosted by the EASF Force Commander and the Chief of Staff of the Logistics Base. The delegation received a detailed presentation on EASF’s mission, operations, and ongoing initiatives, before touring the facilities and premises of both the FHQ and Logistics Base.

EASF Bids Farewell to Outgoing Staff and Welcomes New Members

Nairobi, Kenya – Thursday, 30 October 2025 – The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) held a formal handover and farewell ceremony at its Secretariat in Nairobi to honor outgoing staff members and welcome new officers, in line with the EASF Rotation Matrix 2025–2029. EASF Presents Anniversary Book to Key AU Officials at High-Level Forum in Abuja

Abuja, Nigeria — November 9, 2025—The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) marked a significant milestone in its advocacy and partnership efforts with the formal presentation of the EASF Anniversary Book to senior officials of the African Union Commission (AUC).

The presentation took place during the Second High-Level Biennial Lessons Learned Forum on Peace Support Operations and the African Standby Forces, held from 8–9 November 2025 in Abuja, Nigeria.
