EASF Bids Farewell to Outgoing Staff and Welcomes New Members

The Director of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF), Brig (Rtd) Paul Kahuria Njema, presided over a ceremony on May 31, 2024, at the EASF Secretariat in Nairobi, Kenya, bidding farewell to outgoing staff and welcoming new Staff Members.

He expressed deep gratitude for the outgoing staff's contributions and collaboration during their tenure at EASF. He encouraged them to continue being valiant ambassadors of the Organization in their future. Additionally, he warmly welcomed the new Staff Members.

Brigadier Njema emphasized that the achievements of the past year serve as a testament to EASF's capabilities when working together with a shared vision and purpose. He reaffirmed EASF's commitment to peace and security in the Region, stating, "Together, we will continue to build a safer and more prosperous future for the Eastern African Region."
