Closing Ceremony of the EASF Battle Group Commanders Course

Brig Gen Julius Bagonza, Director of Human Resource Management UPDF Air Force, was the Guest of Honor at the closing ceremony of the Eastern Africa Standby Force Battle Group Commanders Course, which took place on June 14th, 2024.

The event, held at the United Nations Regional Training and Conference Centre in Entebbe, Uganda, spanned over two weeks.

During his closing remarks, Brig Gen Bagonza stressed the significance of tactical level planning and commended the participants for their rigorous exercises throughout the course. He highlighted the importance of these activities in equipping the participants with essential skills for effective mission planning and execution in Peace Support Operations.

The closing ceremony also saw the representation of Brigadier General Getachew Ali Mohamed, who stood in for the Director of the EASF Secretariat, as Force Commander.
