The Eastern Africa Standby Force launched a 4-days' Activity Plan 2021's Review Workshop on 20th July 2021 at the Lerruat Log Resort in Kajiado, Kenya.

The workshop was officially opened by EASF's Planing Element's Joint Chief of Staff, Brig. Gen. Dr. PSC Osman Mohamed Abbas Osman, on behalf of the Director, Brig. Gen. Getachew Shiferaw Fayisa.

The engagement seeks to refine the Command Post Exercise (CPX) 2021's Main Plaining Conference's documents, review the activities accomplished during the first half of 2021 as well as those for the remaining period, and finally prepare a draft 2022 Activity Plan. The CPX 2021 is scheduled to be held in the Republic of Kenya near the end of 2021.

The workshop, comprising members of staff from the EASF Secretariat, is financed by the Government of the Royal Kingdom of Denmark through the International Advisory Coordinating Staff (IACs), housed within the Secretariat in Karen, Nairobi.
