EASF Conducts Spokespersons' Training

EASF successfully conducted a spokespersons' training for its Senior Management, Heads of Structures and Heads of Components from 28th to 30th August 2017 in Naivasha, Kenya.

The training sought to establish a common process that provides EASF Senior Staff  with a

procedure to effectively deliver time-critical information to various stakeholders as well as the general public.  The content included specific message development, television interviews, radio interviews, press conference management and conveying messages in a concise manner.

During the closing session, the EASF Director, Dr Abdillahi Omar Bouh expressed his satisfaction in the conduct and lessons learnt in the spokespersons' training. He maintained that the entire training was a successful undertaking considering the subject matter areas covered within a span of three days.

Dr. Bouh thanked the Danish Government for financially supporting the training as well as Mission Media Group for providing an excellent training package.
