Uganda Senior Command Staff College Visits FHQs

The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) Force Headquarters(FHQs) received Ugandan Senior Command and Staff College Officers in the first week of April 2019, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Uganda is one of the Member States of EASF. The purpose of the visit was to share working experiences, achievements and updates on the progress of the objectives of the organization.

The EASF Force Commander, Brig.Gen. Aladin Osman Mirghani gave a warm welcome to the delegates from the Uganda Senior Command Staff College. In his opening speech the Force Commander explained the long journey and remarkable progress of the organization since the day it was established.

The delegation, led by the Ugandan Military Attaché to Ethiopia, also comprised senior officers from Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, India, South Africa and Southern Sudan.

During the visit, the Force Commander was accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Log Base, Brig.Gen.Godwin Karugaba and Commandant, Logistics Training Center, Colonel Chaharane Mogne.
