AU PSOD Official Calls on Police Component

The Head of Police Component at African Union's Peace Support Operations Division (PSOD) - Plans and Operations Unit, Police Commissioner Mrs. Lillian Okembo (KEN), paid a working visit to the EASF Police Component, at the Secretariat in Karen, Nairobi, on Monday 4th October 2021.

Commissioner Okembo was received by the Head of Police Component, Col. Ali Mohamed Robleh and Police Technical Adviser, D/CSP Bjarne Askholm.

The visit was part of the enhanced cooperation and mutual meetings between the Police Component at AU PSOD and the 5 Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and Regional Mechanisms (REMs), and following up upon a visit and meeting by the EASF Police Component conducted at the AU PSOD in Addis Ababa in April this year.

The outcome was elaborated collaboration detailing the mutual work to enhance and validate the pledged International Police Capabilities within the 10 Member States in the Region in accordance with the drafted and scheduled EASF work plan for 2022.
